Founded in 1989, we are committed to the advancement of FA research in an unwavering pursuit for better treatments, and ultimately a cure, for FA and FA-associated cancers. We offer support, education, and resources to families facing FA to help foster hope across the globe.
FCF’s Board of Directors, Scientific Advisory Board, FA Adult Council, and staff come from various backgrounds and locations spanning the globe. All are dedicated to the advancement of FA and cancer research and empowering those with FA to live full lives.
Donor gifts have led to the discovery of 23 genes, uncovered the connection between FA and cancer, and skyrocketed survival rates of bone marrow transplant patients. Together, we are funding exceptional research to improve the quality of life for people with FA around the world. We strive to put our community’s generous gifts to the best use possible, always.
