Mahazareen Dubash, originally from India, is the primary caregiver for her 19-year-old son with FA. Now residing in Canada, Mahazareen has been an advocate for the FA community since her son’s diagnosis in 2010. She is dedicated to promoting medical and psychosocial research, securing funding for FA, and advocating for better support systems. Her advocacy targets pharmaceutical companies, doctors, researchers, students, and legislators, aiming to improve the lives of those affected by FA.
