Skye earned a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from the University of Oregon and began working with local nonprofits while still in college. Over the past eight years, she has built a career in the nonprofit sector, supporting organizations focused on hunger, domestic violence, and restorative justice. Her experience spans development, program management, and community engagement, with a passion for building meaningful relationships that strengthen organizations and the communities they serve.

Skye joined the Fanconi Cancer Foundation in October 2025 as Development Coordinator and became Senior Development Coordinator in 2026. In her role, she works closely with donors, leads the Endure for a Cure peer-to-peer fundraising program, and cultivates relationships with sponsors and corporate partners. Known for her detail-oriented approach, Skye enjoys creating systems that strengthen fundraising efforts while fostering lasting connections with supporters.

Outside of work, Skye channels her entrepreneurial spirit by operating two online businesses. She also enjoys exploring the Pacific Northwest through kayaking, camping, fishing, and paddle-boarding, attending live outdoor concerts, and tending to her extensive garden and ever-growing collection of houseplants with her partner, Lee, daughter, Juliet, and their assortment of beloved pets.
