Fatma Issak, born in Oslo, Norway, is an FA advocate and member of the FCF Adult Council. After being diagnosed with FA, she successfully underwent a stem cell transplant with her grandmother as the donor. Fatma is dedicated to volunteering and helping others, with experience at Sunrise Day Camp, Memorial Sloan Kettering, and New York Presbyterian. Her advocacy efforts include collaborating with doctors and researchers to spread awareness, advance FA research, and support patients and their families.
