FA Research Materials
Fanconi Antisera Repository
FCF has sponsored the development of high-titer, affinity-purified rabbit polyclonal antisera against the Fanconi anemia (FA) complementation group proteins as part of the Fanconi Anemia Research Materials program in partnership with Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU).
Affinity-purified antisera against the following FANC proteins are currently available: FANCA, B, C, D1(BRCA2), D2, E, F, G(XRCC9), I, J(BRIP1/BACH1), M, N(PALB2), O(RAD51C), P(SLX4), Y, and the deubiquitinating enzyme USP1. In addition to affinity-purified antisera, unpurified sera are available for many FANC proteins for investigators interested in trying alternative purification approaches.
All users must be willing to meet FCF’s use agreement and submit use-data. As a user, your return of use-data is key to our success—and your future access to resources!
Fanconi Cancer Cell Line Repository
The first sporadic head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC) cell line trio is now ready for distribution from the Fanconi Anemia Research Materials program through OHSU.
These isogenic cell line trios (derived from sporadic HNSCC) or pairs (derived from HNSCC FA cancers) are being generated to foster research on cancer origins and treatment in FA.
Sporadic HNSCC cell line trios include the starting cell line, an isogenic FANCA knockout clone and its FANCA-complemented version.
FA cancer-derived cell pairs include the FANC-mutant parent cell line and complemented derivative. Three complementation groups will be represented among the FA-derived cancer cell lines: FANCA, FANCC, and FANCF.
All cell line pairs and trios will come with detailed data sheets including use protocols and quality control data. Investigators requesting cell line pairs and trios must complete a request via the OHSU website.
Fanconi Cell Line Repository
The repository has immortalized human FA fibroblast cell lines for complementation groups FANCA, FANCC, FANCD2, and FANCG, as well as immortalized mouse embryonic fibroblasts (MEFs) from knock out mice of the following genotypes: Fanca, Fancc, Fancd2, Fanca/c, Aldh2, and Fancd2/Aldh2. Investigators requesting fibroblast or MEF cell lines must complete a request via the OHSU website.
The Fanconi Anemia Research Materials program is funded by the Fanconi Cancer Foundation. All antibodies and cell lines will be provided to all qualified researchers for only the cost of shipping.
