Networking

Living with FA means facing many challenges that your family members, friends and peer groups don’t experience. A lot of people find strength and comfort in connecting with others who share some of these experiences. FARF manages a private Facebook support group, which allows adults with FA and parents of children with FA to ask questions and share information and support with others affected by FA. Many find this online community to be a valuable and readily available source of information to help them deal with the diagnosis and effects of Fanconi anemia. To request to join the group, contact Marie Sweeten, Family Services Director: .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address), 541-687-4658.

In addition to the official Family Support group on Facebook, there are two other networks that are strictly for adults with FA, one through Facebook and one through Discord. While these groups are not managed by FARF, our Family Services Director can help get you connected to them.
